Can't Afford To Get To Uni?
At DUSA, we try and help out wherever we can. We know that getting to and from Deakin can be very costly, and for those that experience financial hardship, getting yourself from campus to your home (and back again) can become even more stressful and inconvenient. We've started a welfare project in order to help alleviate that stress.
For those that drive, DUSA can reduce and subsidise the cost of your parking permit.
For those that don't, DUSA can provide public transport assistance by putting money on your Myki.
Full-time or Part-time Deakin University students (on any campus) can apply for transport assistance.
Students must be able to demonstrate financial hardship in order to apply and be granted the assistance.
There are a limited number of permits and public transport assistance allocations, so keep that in mind when applying.
To the right of the page (or on the bottom if you're on your phone) you'll find all the necessary forms and information regarding how to apply.
Our Advocates can help walk you through your application. Fill out the form below to get in touch with them.
