Student Diary Annual Art Competition

"Creativity takes courage" - Henri Matisse

The Student Diary Annual Art Competition is open for the 2017 diaries. It is unique an opportunity for students to have their creative work published, and win $500 cash in the process.

In 2011, DUSA established an annual art prize, giving students the opportunity to be rewarded for their creative skills and get involved in student life by redesigning the student diary cover. DUSA is proudly offering this opportunity for Deakin students in 2017 and we need your creativity.

If you would like the opportunity for your designs to be published on 20,000 student diaries, then get creating – there are no set guidelines for the artwork, it can be illustrations, photography, graphics, infographics, typography, art, paint, sketches... absolutely anything!

Artwork specifics are as follows:

  1. Dimensions 160 x 210mm (width x height). Plus a 10mm bleed.

  2. Must be submitted as either CMYK jpeg or high-res PDF (print ready format).

  3. Cannot contain any offensive and/or derogatory images or text.

Make your student diary what you want it to be. Submit your designs by September 28th 2016 to hope.walker@deakin.edu.au to be in the running.
