2008 Campus Clash

Which Deakin University Campus is the Strongest, Fastest and Funniest of the Sporting Field?

The Campus Clash is an old sporting tradition for Deakin University Students, the opportunity to come together in a social and fun sporting environment provides you with the opportunity to Get Active and Get Involved.

In 2008 with the support and encouragement of Deakin University, DUSA brings back to you this highly sought after event.

• When: Thursday 4th September, 2008
• Where: Deakin Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus
• Sports Included: Mixed Netball, Mixed Soccer, Mixed Basketball, a Men's Australian Rules Football exhibition match and a novelty relay!
• Starts: 12 noon with teams transported from their respective campus from 8:30am
• Cost: $5 for DUSA Members or $8 for Non-Members
• Event Inclusions: 2008 Campus Clash T-shirt, an afternoon of Sport, Fun and Laughs, BBQ and Awards
• Transportation Arrangements: Melbourne and Warrnambool students will be transported to the Geelong Waurn Ponds campus. Arrangements will be emailed directly to you once you have signed up for the sporting event of the year (Australian University Games aside).
• Registration: Simply head to the DUSA Office on your campus to sign up!

Geelong

If you want to have a bit of a run around between classes in a friendly, sociable atmosphere.......the annual Campus Clash will be right up your alley!  This event takes place at the Waurn Ponds campus and as the name suggests, it is a day of friendly competition between teams made up from students on each of the Deakin University campuses.  Sports played are Mixed Netball, Mixed Indoor Soccer, Tug Of War, Football to name a few........

• Location: The SUB squash court

Bike Ride to Koroit

Cycle the back roads & enjoy morning tea in Koroit!

• Date: Friday 19 September
• Bikes available from DUSA4U – limited supplies so book early

Lunchtime Fun Run or Walk

Get some exercise and finish at the Free DUSA members lunch!

• Time: 11.30am
• Location: Warrnambool Campus
• Register: On the day
