Mental Health First Aid           

This course provides participants with the skills to recognise common mental health problems, knowledge of possible causes or risk factors and an awareness of treatments available. Additionally, this course also provides participants with the skills in how to provide initial support to someone experiencing a mental health problem and how to take appropriate action if a crisis situation arises. ​

Mental health crises covered in this course:
- Suicidal thoughts and behaviours
- Non-suicidal self-injury
- Panic attacks
- Traumatic events
- Severe Psychotic states
- Severe effects from alcohol or other drug misuse
- Aggressive behaviours

This course will run over 2 days (Mon 19th and Mon 26th Nov)

Referencing Workshop

As part of Contract Cheating Awareness Week, DUSA & Student Life are running 1 hour ultimate Referencing Workshops. Self Defence Travellers Workshop
