Hi my name is Gurrattan Gaahlay

Hi! My name is Gurrattan Gaahlay. I am Currently finishing a Bachelor of Nursing degree at the Warrnambool Campus. I am the 2023 campus coordinator for DUSA (Warrnambool campus) and will be looking forward to meeting new students through the opportunities DUSA has provided me with.

I originally came from India to study my nursing degree in 2020, but Deakin provided me with ample opportunities to explore the beauty of regional Victoria as well as making lifelong social connections. The Warrnambool campus is a hidden gem gifted by Deakin University and my aim as the campus coordinator for the Warrnambool is to share the beauty and experiences of the campus with other students through various fun-filled activities while making sure everyone feels safe and welcomed here.
