Hi my name is Spencer Perry

Hi, I’m Spencer! I’m a 22-year-old Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) student at the Geelong Waterfront campus. I’m the 2023 Assistant General Secretary for DUSA, and absolutely love my role and the students I get to work with. I grew up in South Gippsland, and love meeting other regional students and talking about our shared experiences.

I have been involved in DUSA since 2020, where I was the 2020-21 Geelong Women's Representative. This position allowed me to work with an amazing team to make changes on campus, as well as organise and run events. My role as Campus Coordinator in 2021-22 involved leading the Geelong Campus Committee to help improve the student experience on campus, through projects, events, and working in a diverse team to ensure all students are represented and included in DUSA. As Assistant General Secretary, I hope to provide the students of Deakin with a representative voice within student council through listening to their concerns and taking action, whilst continuing to help make on-campus events and activities as enjoyable and accessible as they can be.
