Student Engagement Administrator

DUSA is the Deakin University Student Association and is the student voice at the university and in the broader community. We support all students whether they study off campus, are undergraduates, postgraduates or international students. DUSA aims at enhancing the student experience at Deakin.

As the Student Engagement Administrator, you will work and support the greater Student Engagement team who are spread across the Waurn Ponds and Burwood locations. Student Engagement are responsible for a number of student activities on campus including events, clubs, volunteers, short courses, and sporting teams. This role will see you assist the various areas providing administrative and project support.

More specifically you will be involved in:

  • creating and maintaining documents, files, spreadsheets, room and calendar bookings and reports;
  • managing Rosterfy volunteer database for volunteers applications, events and schedules
  • monitoring the social media channels for club accounts
  • Payment and petty cash requests and reimbursements;
  • Student reward and recognition administration processes;
  • Collation of data for post event reports and funding acquittal;
  • and much more.

To be successful in this role you are/have:

  • Enthusiastic and friendly with excellent communication skills
  • 3 years' administration experience coupled with 1 years customer service experience
  • Intermediate skilled in MS Office
  • Exposure and knowledge of social media
  • A team player who can work autonomously
