I’m a third-year undergraduate student studying Wildlife and Conservation Biology at Deakin University. I’m originally from a small country town in rural New South Wales and moved over 1,000 kilometres away from the life I knew to pursue my passions here at Deakin.
I’m an active participant in university life taking on many volunteer roles and I’m currently the President of Deakin Enviro Club and Vice President of the Deakin University Volleyball Club. Furthermore, I was selected as the recipient of the Head of School Award, awarded to a student who has completed their first year in full-time studies and achieved the highest weighted average mark in their course.
Throughout the last year I took on the role of DUSA's Burwood Women's Representative so I can actively advocate and create change on campus. I’m passionate about women's health and have assisted in the implementation of free sanitary products across campus. I also sit on the Sexual Health and Wellbeing Action Group and Women's Committee.
