Deakin Afghan Society (DAS)

The Deakin Afghan Society (DAS) is a student-led cultural organisation that brings together students of Afghan heritage and those with an interest in Afghan culture. The society is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where members can connect, share experiences, and engage with Afghan cultural identity. Through a range of cultural, social, and educational initiatives, the society promotes cultural awareness, community engagement, and cross-cultural understanding within the Deakin University community. The Deakin Afghan Society also offers opportunities for leadership development, networking, and collaboration, supporting students’ personal and professional growth.
