Deakin Clinical Research Society (DCRS)

Waterfront, Waurn Ponds

The Deakin Clinical Research Club is a dynamic and innovative society dedicated to advancing clinical research within healthcare education. Our mission is to cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation of research in clinical settings among students across various health disciplines.

At DCRS, we focus on four key areas:

  • Advocacy for Clinical Research: Highlighting the significance of research in clinical practices
  • Skill Development: Equipping students with practical research skills through workshops and sessions
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Fostering a collaborative environment for students from different healthcare fields to share and grow their research ideas
  • Professional Networking and Mentorship: Connecting students with seasoned professionals for guidance and career development.

Through a series of hands-on workshops, up-skilling sessions, interdisciplinary forums, and networking events, we provide a platform for students to develop their research skills, collaborate across disciplines, and engage with experts in the field. Join us to be a part of this exciting journey into the world of clinical research!
