Deakin Film Society (DFS)

Deakin Film Society is an exciting and welcoming club entirely ran by Deakin University students. We're here for all film lovers, film makers, TV show binge-watchers, and animation fanatics! We have plenty of fun and inviting events occurring this year that we’d love to have you participate in! This includes fortnightly movie screenings and themed trivia nights, a 72 Hour Film Challenge, and a Scriptwriting Competition! Our members enjoy being a part of the only film and TV focused group at Deakin University, and love getting involved in collaborative experiences. Whether you’re wanting to make content for your portfolio or meet new people in a fun and relaxed environment, this is the club for you!
