The Deakin Nursing Students’ Society (DNSS) is a supportive, student-led community for nursing students in Geelong.

DNSS aims to foster connection and belonging by encouraging peer support, mentorship, and shared learning experiences. We offer opportunities for professional development through networking with faculty, alumni, and industry professionals, alongside interactive workshops, social events, and mixers. Our initiatives support academic success, wellbeing, skill development, and early, transparent conversations around graduate year applications and diverse nursing career pathways.
