EMD is the Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Interest Group for medical students at Deakin University. We organise emergency medicine and critical care focused tutorials across clinical and pre-clinical sites. The highlight of our year is the Rural Emergencies Camp, run in collaboration with Deakin’s rural health club, NOMAD. This event is held in Dunkeld where we have a fun weekend learning about rural emergencies alongside skilled clinicians.
