Japanese-Australian Social Society (JASS)

The Japanese Australian Social Society (JASS) is a dynamic and inclusive student club at Deakin University that celebrates both Japanese and Australian culture. Our mission is to bring together students from all backgrounds by sharing traditions, language, food, and fun from both communities.

From language and mochi classes, to Aussie BBQs and collaborative cultural events, we create opportunities to learn, connect, and enjoy the best of both worlds. Whether you're deeply connected to one culture or simply curious about either, JASS is a welcoming space to explore and celebrate diversity.

私たちは、さまざまなバックグラウンドを持つ学生たちが、日本とオーストラリアの文化を通じてつながり、言語や伝統、食べ物、そして楽しい時間を一緒に過ごせる場をつくっています。
