Food vouchers, parcels and foodbanks

Are you currently needing food items, pantry items, or vouchers to get by? Running low on funds to manage day-to-day expenses?

There are a variety of food services available to assist you when you are stuck in a difficult situation. The services below are external to DUSA and Deakin – be sure to check out the Survival Centre or contact the DUSA Advocacy team for more information if you are unsure of what you can access.

Don't forget...

DUSA’s Student Survival Centres are available for Deakin students who are facing financial hardships and in desperate need of basic emergency food and supplies. Students can access basic food items, personal hygiene products, sexual health products, clothing, towels, bedding, homewares, stationary, notebooks and more for free.
Deakin Financial Assistance:
Contact a Financial Assistance Officer via Student Central to discuss your needs. Deakin offers a range of financial supports such as interest free loans, grants or scholarships.
