Hi my name is Abhinav Jyoti Bhuyan

Namaskar!

I am Abhinav Jyoti Bhuyan, proudly hailing from the evergreen state of Assam in North-East India. I am currently in my 2nd year of Bachelors, and I am privileged and humbled to be representing the students of Deakin University as their Student Councillor for the year 2025–2026.

Since childhood, I have been deeply interested in politics, which has always inspired me to contribute in whatever way I can to my community. In class 10, I founded an NGO, named We Care Organisation, a platform through which we reached more than 100,000 individuals, including homeless individuals, flood-affected families, and underprivileged children. Through it, I was able to understand the need to do whatever we can for people with whatever capacity we have, because it does make an impact. Every small act of kindness makes a big impact for someone out there.

I am grateful for the trust placed in me to represent the student community, and I hope to create a positive impact through this responsibility. Together, I believe we can bring about meaningful changes, advocate for students, and uphold your trust by doing our absolute best. Our team is committed, focused, and ready to serve.
