After a successful trial in 2025, we’re excited to announce that Deakin libraries are going 24/7 in 2026!
What you need to know:
- 24/7 library access at Waurn Ponds, Waterfront and Warrnambool campuses is now available.
- 24/7 library access at Burwood
campus is available from Monday 2nd February.
- Access your campus library after hours by swiping your student ID at the entrance.
- Items located on 24/7 accessible floors can be borrowed at the self-checkout stations or via the Deakin Borrow app.
Good to know:
- Food is available via the vending machines and Agora Mini Markets are available for supplies 24/7 at Burwood and Geelong campuses.
Student safety:
- Campus Support will be available outside of library staffed hours to ensure your safety.
- Download the SafeZone
app to your phone if you plan to study outside of library staffed hours. This free app can be used on campus for emergencies, if you need an escort back to your car, or if you have a disability and require assistance.
The DUSA Student Council is always advocating for better services, and we’re thrilled to be a part of providing students with a quiet and safe space to focus on studies (or just take some time out) at any time, day or night.
