We are happy to announce joint winners for March’s DUSA Club Event of the Month!

Congratulations to the Deakin Nursing and Midwifery Society from Burwood for their 2026 DNMS Scrub Crawl, and to the Geelong Social Club, Deakin Motorsport, and Deakin Design and Innovation Club from Geelong for their BBQ & Connect event. Read on below to learn more about both events.

Deakin Nursing and Midwifery Society | 2026 DNMS Scrub Crawl

This sold out event brought together nursing and midwifery students for a night of music, fun and connection. Attendees had a dress code of their favourite scrubs, making our group a colourful sea of students! Attendees met in Hawthorn and kicked off the night at Nevermind Bar before heading to The Kilburn, where they shared pizza, drinks and plenty of laughs while dancing to great music. Students expressed that they had an amazing time, made lots of friends, and they were so grateful for the opportunity to connect with other students in a fun, vibrant environment.

Geelong Social Club, Deakin Motorsport, and Deakin Design and Innovation Club | BBQ & Connect

This event brought together three Geelong based clubs for a day of delicious food, games and connection. It was a fantastic way for to meet new people from different backgrounds and a great opportunity for students to share experiences and create new memories.
